10. Klaw's Involvement
When Andy Serkis first joined Avengers: Age of Ultron, it was assumed given his background in motion capture that he would use those skills. Instead, Serkis will be playing the famous Black Panther villain Ulysses Klaw. He has been shown briefly in each of the first two trailers but how big of a role he will actually have is not clear. He may simply be an easy way to introduce Wakanda and give Ultron the Vibranium he needs but if the glimpses we have gotten are any indication, his role may be much bigger.
9. Banner's Anger Problems
Thanks to his role in The Avengers, the Hulk became a favorite among fans around the world. His future in the movies has been a hot topic with rumors stating he be in space by the time Avengers: Age of Ultron comes to an end. His fate may be related to his ability to control his anger and not Hulk out. From the footage we've seen of Banner, his ability to control the Hulk is unstable. Seeing how he deals with his anger will be very interesting to watch.
8. The Twins
Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) are some of the newest super powered individuals in the Marvel cinematic universe. They have been used sparingly in marketing in large part to most likely make their screen time that much more enjoyable. The twins will begin by helping Ultron but should switch and join the Avengers before the movie is finished. How their powers will be displayed and utilized make their presence one of my most anticipated moments of the film.
7. Cameos
We know a large majority of the cast and characters that will make appearances in Avengers: Age of Ultron but their are certainly a few that should surprise us. From Black Panther, to Carol Danvers, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, Mantis, SHIELD agents and their director, or even a new Peter Parker, there has been no shortage of rumors on who just might make a cameo. Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) seems like the most likely cameo to take place, especially considering Agents of SHIELD is set to tie in to this movie. Other than that, Scott Lang, Hank Pym, or Stephen Strange would be a pleasant surprise and makes this one of my most anticipated moments of the film, should it happen.
6. Civil War Seeds
Following Avengers: Age of Ultron, Marvel will release Ant-Man before delivering what Anthony Mackie called "Avengers 3.8" in Captain America: Civil War. Civil War will feature Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Captain America (Chris Evans) square off about who super powered people, like themselves, should have to answer to. Marvel has been hinting at Civil War for quite some time and should continue that during Avengers: Age of Ultron making it one of our most anticipated moments.
5. Hero vs Hero Fights
One of the best parts of The Avengers was seeing heroes go to head to head. Thor vs Hulk, Iron Man vs Thor, and Black Widow vs a mind controlled Hawkeye were just a few of the battles that we saw. We know of one hero vs hero fight that will get more of a spotlight later on. In the footage we have seen, we know there will be some tension between Thor and Iron Man, but what other fights we could see are a mystery. It seems very likely that we will see Captain America and Iron Man go head to head to preview Captain America: Civil War. Seeing other heroes, both old and new, go head to head will be a very memorable part of the film.
4. Splitting the Team
With Captain America: Civil War on the horizon, there have been plenty of rumors of what side other characters will pick. It is rumored that the current Avengers team will be no more after this movie for various reasons and Captain America will form and lead a brand new team. Seeing who exactly makes that team, where the rest of the current Avengers go, and what this could mean for the future make it a very anticipated moment of the film.
3. Final Ultron Battle
The villainous A.I. Ultron will be the big bad the Avengers have to face in Avengers: Age of Ultron. We've seen the introduction to Ultron in the trailers but the final battle between him and the team should be extremely memorable. Should he get his body coated in Vibranium remains to be seen but from the footage Marvel has shown, Ultron will be an incredibly hard opponent to take down. As he said, "There are no strings on me."
2. Reveal of Vision
Contrary to the amount of promo art that has come out featuring the full life form of JARVIS, his transformation into the Vision has not been shown in footage. Marvel has, to this point, hid Vision (Paul Bettany) in live action and unless they surprise us in the third (last) trailer we won't see him. The reveal of Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron and what side he starts and finishes on make his reveal one of the most anticipated moments.
1. Hulk vs Hulkbuster
This should not be a surprise to anyone who has been following Avengers: Age of Ultron. Marvel teased the Hulk vs Hulkbuster fight with promo art during their Marvel/75 Years/Pulp to Pop special on ABC and has been the centerpiece of the trailers. Seeing the full fight on the big screen and who may or may not be controlling/manipulating the Hulk will be a great moment in MCU history.
