We are getting closer and closer to Avengers: Age of Ultron being released and this week brought us lots of promo art as well as official images for the film. Marvel also added to the casts of AKA Jessica Jones, which started filming this week, and Agents of SHIELD. They gave us our first trailer for their first Netflix original series Daredevil, while showing us a new episode of Agent Carter. We also heard an actor throw his name into the ring to play T'Chaka in Black Panther. Read more about each of these below-
New Age of Ultron Promo Art Surfaces
With just over three months separating the world from seeing Avengers: Age of Ultron, promotional materials are starting to become more and more popular. This week Fathead showed off their products from the film, show casing individual Fatheads for all the films main characters, excluding Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. DCMarvelFreshman from CBM was able to blow the images up for very good looks at each of the characters.
Carrie-Anne Moss Added to Jessica Jones
Marvel has been steadily announcing new members to the cast of AKA Jessica Jones the last few weeks and this week they made another addition. Carrie-Anne Moss has joined the Netflix original series as a mystery character that could have a big impact on Jessica Jones' story. Moss joins Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), David Tennant (Kilgrave), and Rachael Taylor (Hellcat).
Official Age of Ultron Photos Released
Besides the promotional art, Marvel should continue to release official images from Avengers: Age of Ultron up until the film's release. They did so this week by releasing 16 Official Age of Ultron Photos.
Lance Reddick Interested in T'Chaka
Since the Marvel universe is continuing to expand, there are hundreds of roles up for grabs. With that in mind, Marvel is also one of the most successful studios in the world right now so many actors and actresses will want to join the fun. This week Lance Reddick told IGN, "I would love to play T'Chaka... if it's an origin story." Reddick is only 14 years older than Chadwick Boseman but it could still be possible.
Agent Carter EP 5
Agent Carter is closing in on the conclusion of its first season. It has been a success for Marvel on seemingly all fronts and they delivered what is most likely the strongest episode yet with "The Iron Ceiling." Check out our full review here.
First Daredevil Trailer
After much anticipation and a 15 second teaser, Marvel gave us our first look at their first Netflix original series Daredevil. The trailer was dark, bloody, and showcased Hell's Kitchen. Watch the trailer and more here.
Luke Mitchell Getting Inhuman
We are less than a month away from the return of Agents of SHIELD and what should be a crazy second half of the season. It's been revealed that the cast had a few Inhumans on it already and now they are getting another one. Luke Mitchell has joined the cast an Inhuman named Lincoln.
AKA Jessica Jones Starts Filming
With Daredevil just 2 months away from debuting, Marvel's second Netflix series officially started filming this week. Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) was seen in New York shooting scenes for AKA Jessica Jones.
