3 Added to AKA Jessica Jones Cast

Production is underway for Marvel's second Netflix original series AKA Jessica Jones. Over the past few weeks, Marvel has announced the additions of major supporting characters such as David Tennant as Kilgrave, Rachael Taylor as Hellcat, and Carrie Anne-Moss as an unnamed character.

Today, news outlets such as The Hollywood Reporter and Variety are reporting that Marvel has added three more characters to the cast. Marvel has just confirmed the same additions.

Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty, and Wil Travel have been cast as supporting characters for the show.

Eka Darville, who starred in The Originals and Power Rangers R.P.M., will be playing Malcolm, "a neighbor of Jessica’s whose life will cross with the private detective's in a surprising way."

Erin Moriarty, who has been in True Detective and The King's of Summer, will be playing Hope, "a young girl who becomes a client of Alias Investigations, Jessica's business."

Wil Travel, who starred in Red Widow, will be playing "a by-the-book New York Police Department officer." His character's name was not revealed.

Jeph Loeb, Executive Producer/Marvel’s Head of Television said, "All three of these enormously talented actors bring even more layers of depth and nuance to Jessica’s world. Together they help flesh out what is already a phenomenal cast in a series we believe will be truly remarkable."

AKA Jessica Jones is scheduled to come out late 2015 or early 2016 and will stream exclusively on Netflix.
